Six things I do, and honest guidance on which you need
Most people arrive knowing something isn't working, not knowing which service fixes it. So start with the problem, not the product name — and if none of these quite fit, ring me and I'll point you somewhere else.
Start with what's actually bothering you
"My site is old, slow, or embarrassing next to my competitors."
Websites →
"I want to sell online, or my shop isn't converting."
Ecommerce →
"Nobody finds me on Google unless they already know my name."
SEO →
"I need enquiries sooner than search can deliver them."
Media marketing →
"I don't know who hosts my site or what I'm paying for it."
Hosting & care →
"I'm doing the same admin job by hand fifty times a week."
AI & automation →
A seventh service, for a different buyer
Cybersecurity & regulatory compliance
Everything above is aimed at owner-managed businesses. This one isn't. It's regulatory cybersecurity analysis for operators held to CAF, NIS and NIS2, CIS Controls or IEC 62443 — power generation, electricity networks, water, transport, healthcare.
Different discipline, different price, same principle: the person who sells it is the person who delivers it, and every requirement traces to an obligation you can show an auditor.
In short
- CAF readiness and gap assessment, Basic or Enhanced Profile
- NIS and NIS2 programme analysis
- CIS Controls, IG1 through IG2
- Supplier and contract assurance against compliance obligations
- Audit-ready evidence and risk attestation
Delivered at Drax, National Grid Ventures and Pharmacy2U. SC cleared.
Order of operations
These aren't six things to buy at once
There's a sensible order, and getting it wrong is how people waste money. Paying for search or ads before the website converts means paying to send strangers to a page that won't do anything with them.
Roughly: get the site right, make sure it's fast, secure and hosted somewhere sane, then work on being found. Automation comes last, once you know which bits of the business are actually eating your week.
On a free call I'll tell you which step you're actually on — including when the answer is "none of them yet".
The usual sequence
01
A site that turns visitors into enquiries
Websites, or Ecommerce if you're selling
02
Somewhere reliable for it to live
Hosting & care
03
Being found by people ready to buy
SEO for the long game, media marketing for now
04
Getting your week back
AI & automation
Not sure which one you need?
That's the normal state of affairs, and it's exactly what the free call is for. Half an hour, no fee, and no obligation to buy anything at the end of it.
